I see that plugs in hotels in Switzerland are both 2 and 3 prongs. I am planning on carrying 2 adapters. One 2 and one 3. I understand the older ones are 2 and newer are 3.

    Help?

    Steph,

Thanks for the reply. I see the 3 plug picture and I have those, but some years ago I also noticed a 2 prong plug. If i have just the 3 prong plug, it will not fit the 2 hole outlet. Are all hotels mow using the 3 hole plug?

    Hi Crossfiron,

I’m afraid to say I don’t know the current situation in hotels as I life in Switzerland and quite rarely stay in Hotels.

But I would assume the sockets being 3 holed, generally.

Maybe someone else has more personal input.

    Best,
    Steph
