I have tried to purchase tickets for a 1 June trip from Fluelen to Lugano. The SBB site says there is an error. Am I too early or could there be another reason that I cannot purchase?

Hi pollyburks,

If it’s the domestic SBB site they allow buying tickets 30 days out so that should not be a problem. I’m not sure which error you got, but if it’s payment related they probably don’t accept your credit card. That happens quite frequently with foreign cards. You can try other websites instead which are more geared to tourists: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr aintickets/switzerland /price.

I encountered the same problem there is an error several times. Have since been told by friends that you can only purchase 30 days prior to travel. Been trying to purchase tickets Zurich-Riddes for travel in June with no luck.

I had the same issue but it was my bank, I had to call them so they allowed the credit card to be charged.
