Hi nandita,
I wouldn’t recommend to wait to Spiez to use your Swiss Saver Pass, as it is already valid from Domodossola in Italy. You can use it from there if you buy it in advance, which is cheaper in many cases anyway. The Swiss Pass page links to a map that shows you what’s covered. It also shows you the local and online prices.

Hi Nandita,
It could indeed be cheaper locally as well, it depends on where you live. What’s your country of residence?
The Swiss Pass is for sale at most manned rail stations. Brig and Lugano should be no problem.

Hi Nandita,
There’s indeed a CHF 20.50 shipping fee for Italy. I guess you should just look at the total amounts, as you need additional tickets to one of the Swiss towns you mentioned (e.g. the standard fare Domodossola – Brig is CHF 15.20 p.p. one way).
The departure times you mentioned are probably for the official Golden Pass and Glacier Express trains. There are regular trains on those routes as well, and they run later. They’re listed in the timetable.
Enjoy your stay!
