Hi, may i know is it necessary to buy this Rail Protection Plan for Swiss Saver Pass (buy online via Train Ticket).
is it very tedious to make a claim?

and i will travel on 18-25 November 2011, should i buy the swiss saver pass now (what is the validity of the pass once i purchased)?

Hello cwy368,

Well, if you take good care of your pass you don't need extra insurance. It's a matter of personal preference. You're well protected if you do decide to take the Rail Protection Plan. All details can be found here.

Your Swiss Pass should be used within 6 months after purchase, so you can buy now.
