    Hi Arno,
I’m making a online booking for a 09:29 train, from Geneva to Monte-Carlo (Monaco) but got a error message that the journey is too long.
Since the journey has several transit stations, does that mean I need to split the purchase to four tickets instead??

    ie.
    Ticket 1: Geneva to Lyon-Part-Dieu
    Ticket 2: Lyon-Part-Dieu to Aix-en-Provence
    Ticket 3: Aix-en-Provence to Nice-Ville
    Ticket 4: Nice-Ville to Monaco-Monte-Carlo

However I didn’t get this error when making online booking from Zermatt to Geneva via VISP. Why is that so??

    I’m confuse.

Hi Bill. The Swiss timetable seems to have some kind or problem with this trip indeed. Generally, it displays correct information on outbound trips as well. You can see what happens if you split the journey into several legs, or contact the SBB. The French timetable may be helpful too.
