    Hello,

We’ll be staying in Zermatt for a night and will stay in Lausanne for our last night before going back home the next day.

Is there a scenic route by regular train that you can suggest? I see there are options: direction Visp/Fiesch/Brig.

Thank you in advance for all the suggestions!

    Hi deedee,

The most direct route is changing in Visp and then going through Martigny and up to Montreux and Lausanne (about 3 hours).

If you have time, another option would be to go via Kandersteg (via the Lötschberger line) and Zweisimmen (on the Golden Pass line) but this brings your trip time up to about 7 hours.
