I plan to visit both Schilthorn and Jungfraujoch with my Swiss Travel Pass on 4th Sept.

Which do you recommend to visit first?

I would like to go to Grindelwald, too, on my way to or on my way back from Jungfraujoch.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi SwissPass,

In my opinion, it’s much, both Schilthorn and Jungfraujoch in one day. Both are overwhelming, I would make a choice if I were you (and do it only when the weather is clear). Moreover, it will cost you a lot of time. It is doable, but really much.

You can get more information about Schilthorn on

I hope this helps you decide. Going to Grindelwald, either from Schilthorn or Jungfraujoch will be no problem. Details of how to get there are easy to find. It’s always helpful to check the timetable:

<<“I plan to visit both Schilthorn and Jungfraujoch with my Swiss Travel Pass on 4th Sept.”>>

My personal opinion is that doing both in he same day, though possible, would make a very rushed trip.

Let the weather guide you….check the webcams at the ticket offices or train stations or tourist offices before you buy.
