Seat assignment on the TGV Lausanne – Paris

    I am traveling with my husband and 3 teenage children this July. I started to book our tickets from Lausanne to Paris on the TGV Lyria using the SBB site which has the best fare. It doesn’t give me a chance to select specific seats, just preferences for aisle/window etc. Will they try to keep the family together or close together when they assign the seats? or is there a chance we will end up in single seats spread out on the train? I am trying to avoid calling them because it is so expensive.
