    Hi,
Can you help us find a ski resort in St Moritz that can accommodate beginners ? If there is one, may I know if the resort has ski gears for rent ?

We are tourists and our schedule leaves the afternoon of Oct 23, 2012 free for any activity of our choice. My nephew and two nieces are excited to experience skiing.

    Thanks,

    Pia

you’re too early for the ski season I’m afraid. There’s some glacier skiing around but it’s one or two pistes only.

It’s not very realistic any time of year to expect to spend an afternoon experiencing skiing, if you’re not experienced already you’d really spend a couple of hours learning how to put the skis on and falling over.

There’s a few glaciers around where you can go up and enjoy the snow which may be more fun!

    Hi,

Thanks for your valuable input. It surely helps manage our expectations. I will seriously consider your suggestion to instead go up the glacier and enjoy the snow.
