Snowshoeing around Grindelwald in February

    Hello, I am planning a winter vacation for next Feb. in Grindelwald. Can all of the hikes in the area be done with snowshoes or only certain ones? I know some trails are cleared for winter hiking. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Chriswhitetx, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

    Officially, there is only one snowshoe hike available near Grindelwald. I’m surprized myself, and am sure there are other opportunities. But, clearly, not all of the summer hiking trails.

    Some trails would be accessed by pedestrians and you can join them without snowshoes. Other are where ski slopes are.
