The Lötschberg Railways (BLS) celebrate their 100 year anniversary. They offer a special one day travel card for unlimited traveling within the region Biel, Luzern, Brig, Fribourg, Bern, Interlaken. The day cards are valid for trains, buses and boats operated by the BLS.
There are two types of day travel cards:
- The limited edition for CHF 50. You can purchase it from 2 months before your travel day until 5 days before your travel day. Optionally, you can add a discounted ticket to the top of the Niesen, Stockhorn or Niederhorn. Only 100 of these cards are being sold every day.
- The unlimited edition for CHF 78.
The anniversary travel cards are for sale until December 31, 2013, at any manned station in the region.
