Stanserhorn seat reservation necessary?

    We will be travelling on a Swiss Travel Pass. Do we need to book a seat for the furnicular and cable car from Stans to the Stanserhorn.

    Hi dilowe!

    Reservations aren’t obligatory, but you can arrange for a boarding pass allowing guaranteed boarding for a specific departure time. This can be helpful if you’re traveling in busy summer months. As you probably know, the ride itself is for free with a Swiss Travel Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity).
