Swiss Travel Pass – Visp to Zermatt reservation?

    4 of us have Swiss Travel Passe and will be going to Zematt on Sunday, 29 April. We will start from Luzern to Bern to Visp and then to Zermatt. Do we need to make a reservation for either the whole round trip or just the Visp to Zermatt portions?

    Hi Cathy,

    No I wouldn’t worry about train reservations at all – just hop on the trains you need with the Swiss Travel Pass and go. If you are trying to take the Glacier Express train for the last section (from Brig not Visp) then reservations are needed.

    It is a long day from Lucerne to Zermatt and back!
