We arrive in Geneva..travel to Kandersteg, do multiple trips, and return to Geneva from Lauterbrunnen..do we qualify for this pass, or do we need to depart from Geneva and return to Geneva using the same station, to get the free ticket entering+leaving Switzerland?

Alan.

Thanks for joining us, Alan!

Yes, the Swiss Transfer Ticket Combi certainly makes sense. You can use it for Geneva-Kandersteg and for Lauterbrunnen-Geneva, as your arrival and departure stations don't have to be the same. It's explained at www.myswissalps.com/sw isstransferticket/howt ouse.

Purchase options are listed at www.myswissalps.com/sw isstransferticket/pric e. Make sure to select the Combi variant from the drop-downlist before picking a reseller. Since you're from Ireland, it's cheapest to order through www.swissrailways.com.
