Swiss Transfer Ticket same day as entry?

Hi, Great site. We arrive into Zurich by plane and then we intend to get a train to Zermatt 2 days later. Can the transfer ticket be used for the train to Zermatt even though it is 2 days after our entry into Switzerland?

I'm glad you like our site, thanks! You can use the Swiss Transfer Ticket from either Zurich airport or Zurich HB (the central station in town) to travel to Zermatt. Doing so two days after your arrival is no problem. Should you be asked for a travel date when you buy it, enter the actual travel day, not the day of arrival.
