We are travelling to Switzerland on Sep 8th - Sep 12th

Day 1 - Zurich Airport to rhine water falls and from there to Lucerne (Night stay in Lucerne)

Day 2 - Lucerne to Mt. Titlis (Night stay in Lucerne)

Day 3- Lucerne to Interlaken through golden pass panorama(Night stay in grindelwald)

Day 4- Some places near grindelwald ( Afternoon start to Zurich) Night stay in Zurich)

Day 5- Flight from Zurich airport.

Could you please suggest which one is better option for this itenary? swiss travel pass or half fare card.

Also please suggest the places near grindelwald to visit. Can we take a cruise while returning from Interlaken to Zurich for some distance and travel by train the remaining part?

Hi Neeha,

Either a 4-day Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fare Card will work. The Swiss Travel Pass is more convenient as you don't have to buy tickets for each trip. Whether the Swiss Half Fare Card is cheaper can be calculated.

Both passes can be printed at home as explained in your other thread. Be sure to do so in time as it takes 1-3 business days to receive them through e-mail.

Places to visit near Grindelwald are listed here: myswissalps.com/ grindelwald/ activities. A boat ride on Lake Brienz or Lake Thun would fit into your way back.
