We are travelling From Paris to Lucerne in May. My research about the Swiss Travel Pass tells me I can travel within Switzerland using that pass by train. Which is my nearest point of entry to Switzerland from Paris, so I can then take advantage of the Swiss Pass and reach Lucerne. I understand that the train travel is free within Switzerland with the Swiss Pass.

Hi Parthroy1968 and welcome to MySwissAlps!

If you are heading to Lucerne you would enter Switzerland in Basel. You can buy tickets from Paris to Basel here. If that is your only travel that day, I might not start your Swiss Travel Pass until the next day and just buy a ticket straight to Lucerne.
