Hi,I will be taking a train from Interlaken to Milan via Spiez. Would like to check if i have both the Swiss Pass and Eurail (Italy) pass, will they cover this journey? Do i have to pay any supplements? Thanks.

Hi coocknchil. Yes, a valid Eurail Pass for Italy and a Swiss Pass will cover the entire trip from Milan to Interlaken. So the trip itself is for free; the only additional costs consist of a reservation fee, as seat reservations are required for such an international trip.

You may want to take a look at the synoptic map which shows the exact area of validity of the Swiss Pass, by clicking the link 'Overview of the network on which the Swiss Pass is valid' at the Swiss Pass page.

I hope this answers your question!
