Train from Lugano to Milan

I am planning to travel from Lugano to Milan by train on 09/05/12 (18:28 - 19:50 Hour)

I will have a swiss pass with me. Kindly help me on my following queries:

- If I need to book train from Lugano to Milan separately
- If swiss pass will cover the swiss part of journey & then I have to book the italian part separately
- I checked in Trenitalia website but there this train (18:28 - 19:50 Hour) is not available for booking
- I can see this train available for booking in https://www.sbb.ch/ , but here I have to pay

Hi bikashisonline. The connection you selected is by regional train. Seat reservations aren't necessary and not even possible in that case. The Swiss leg up to Chiasso will indeed by covered by your Swiss Pass.
