    Hi Everyone
i am planning a 12 hour stopover in Zurich in the middle of July and I heard that mount Pilatus was a beautiful trip that is possible to do in the time i have available.

Can anyone tell me what trains i need to take to get there? I am landing at 10:45 am and flying at 22:45 pm the same day.

    thank you so much

Hi atnovick! That’s possible indeed. You can find all connections by entering Zurich Airport as your departure station and Pilatus Kulm as your destination in the Swiss timetable. You’ll have to get to Lucerne by train first . Next, there are two options: either by bus to Kriens and by cable car to Pilatus, or by train to Alpnachstad and by cogwheel to Pilatus. You could pick one route to get up and the other to return.
