My husband and I are currently traveling in Italy and have decided to spend four days in Switzerland (June 10-14). We want to buy either a Swiss pass or half fare card but are unsure if we can purchase either in Italy. Can we purchase these over the internet and print the tickets?

Hello Jordan6896! No, they can’t be purchased online as e-tickets. Online purchase is an option, but a paper ticket will be sent in that case. You can choose to have it delivered to your hotel or apartment address in Italy though. In that case, just fill out Italy as your country of residence in the upper right corner of either the Swiss Pass page or the Swiss Half Fare Card page. If that’s no option for you, you should get out at the first Swiss train station during your inbound journey to buy your pass. More information can be found at the pages I mentioned. Have a great stay in Switzerland!
