    Hello

I would like to purchase a ticket to the Jungfraujoch from Murren on October 11, 2019

We are staying in Murren. We would like to use the gondola bc that is next to our Hotel Alpenruh, rather than the BLM. But we could use the BLM if suggested.

We would like to reach the Jungfraujoch at 8:35 am.

We would like to go up via Grindelwald and return via Wengen.

We have a Swiss Pass. How to we book the Jungfraujoch ticket?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Susan

    Hi Michael Susa,

For information to purchase the tickets to Jungfraujoch, please refer to this link:
    http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfraujoch/tickets

The only way to get to Jungfraujoch is by the cogwheel train from Kleine Scheidegg
    http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfraujoch/gettingther e

With the Swiss Travel Pass, you will get a 25% off of the ticket purchase price from Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch. From Murren to Grindelwald is free via Zweilutschinen. And similarly, on the return journey, from Wengen to Murren is free.

Please check the validity of the Swiss Travel Pass here:

Kindly check the timetable for the earliest possible departure.

Don’t buy a Jungfraujoch ticket before the day before your planned trip. For example I was in the area last week and on two mornings the mountain was completely covered by clouds. Yet I saw mobs of visitors taking trains to Kleine Scheidegg, many I expect planning to go to the top. All they’d see is white if standing at Jungfraujoch. Quite an expensive experience considering the cost is about 150 CHF with a Swiss travel pass.

check weather predictions on the day before or morning of planned travel. If on the morning, also check live web cams from the peak.

Thank you. I must be doing something wrong. I’m on the jungfrau.ch website and click on the connecting ticket for GA and Swiss Travel Pass; from Grindelwald & to Wengen, which says from 130 CHF. But when I put in the date of October 11th, the cost is only 20CHF which doesn’t make sense. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Michael Susa,

If you are the doing the round trip Grindelwald – Kleine Scheidegg – Jungfraujoch – Kleine Scheidegg- Wengen, the price of CHF130 (or thereabouts) should be about right.

If I’m correct, the CHF20 would be for travel between Grindelwald to Wengen only via Kleine Scheidegg.

Please have a look at this link if you wish to get the Jungfraujoch ticket online

If you have any doubts, please enquire at the station with your Swiss Travel Pas.
