We will be in Venice and want to go to Zermatt on Sept. 6th. We have a 4 day Swiss travel pass which starts on the 6th of Sept. I think we can take a train from Venice s Lucia to Domodossola. But we need to pay for that but from Domodossola to Zermatt will be no charge because we have the Swiss travel pass... Is this correct? And where do I find train info for Venice to Domodossola? Whenever I input Venice s Lucia to Domodossola on acp rail this message comes back. Petra 2 service 6023 requested station does not exist in timetable. What does this mean? Am I putting in something wrong? HELP please. Thank you Barb

Hi Barb,

You indeed need a ticket until Domodossola only. ACP Rail has a problem with some routes. Please try captaintrain.com/train s/milano-centrale/zurich-hb or www.raileurope.com/eur opean-trains/trenitalia/how-to-book.html instead.
