We are planning to travel from 28th December to 4th January to Switzerland with our beloved dog.

We are a couple travelling from Paris to explore Zermatt. What is the best connection from Paris to Zermatt? From Zermatt, we wish to travel to Chamonix and back. ( 28th -2nd Jan in Zermatt)

From Zermatt, we plan to visit Jungfraujoch, what is the best way to travel, Train route suggestions. we plan to stay in Grindelwald ( 2nd Jan to 4th/5th Jan). Does train from Grindelwald from Jungfrau allow dog?

Then return from Grindelwald to Paris. What is the best route to return using the train?

We are travelling with our dog who is around 8 kgs. Does the train including mountain rail and panoramic train allow a dog?

We are thinking of buying a pass will the pass cover journey from Paris to Switzerland and return or pass is only valid in Switzerland.

Which pass you would recommend us to buy?

You would be fine on all trains except the Glacier Express (http://www.myswissalps.com/gl acierexpress) due to food being served throughout the train.

I would look at a Swiss only rail pass and then tickets to/from Paris and Switzerland for your trip.
