    Hi,

Can i know if the STP covers entry to the castles or just the transportation (I.e. boats and land transfers) ? Thanks in advance.

    Hi hitmankumar,

I’m not sure if castles are classified as museum. You can find a list of participating museums here: http://www.museumspass.ch/en/ where-to-use-my-museum-pass/.

The castles at Hilterfingen (Schloss Hünegg), Oberhofen, Spiez and Thun are all covered by the Museum pass.

    Thanks Maggie and Chantal,

So can I clarify that the museum pass must be bought separately and that it us not covered under STP ?

    Thanks in advance

The museum pass is included in the Swiss Travel Pass. I was just not sure if castles would be included. The ones Maggie mentioned are.

If you have a doubt whether a castle is included, click on the link I posted before and search for the name. I prefer to search on location so I use the first PDF that can be downloaded.
