Upgrading purchased passes

I am going to Switzerland in January on what was supposed to be a ski trip. Unfortunately, I’ve broken my arm and will not be able to ski. We’ve already purchased 6 day Swiss Flexipasses from Rail Europe in order to assure space on the Glacier Express. I would like to know if there is a way to upgrade to a better pass (in this case to a 15 day 2nd class Swiss Pass) once I get to Switzerland?

    Hello rphfred,

I’m sorry to hear that! Rail passes can’t be upgraded, but they can be cancelled and then purchase another one. You can best contact Rail Europe and ask for the options, and check whether they charge a cancellation fee in this specific case. Contact details can be found here.

I wish you a speedy recovery and a pleasant trip!

    Hi rphfred,

If you buy another pass before December 5, you will have a good deal since it’s $75 cheaper now. See here for details please.
