Thanks to everyone who posts in this forum, it really helped improve our recent Swiss trip. Firstly, in Geneva Airport, before you leave baggage claim, get your free train travel ticket, valid for 80 minutes, Its a machine just next to the exit doors, and gives you free train travel. Than, when you check into your Geneva hotel, you are given free public transport pass. This was so handy, and thanks to all who posted about this previously, as we made great use of these freebies! Secondly, we stayed in the Valais region, and the Adventure Card gives you free travel on busses and trains in the area, and 50% off cablecars, and other trains such as Gornergrat from Zermatt. Since we only did this area in Switzerland, this was the best value travel card for us. Happy travels to all!

    Hello AmyAus,

Thanks a million for your input, I’m sure it will be of great value for future travellers to similar areas of Switzerland!

As always I’ll ask if you can support your input with one or the other picture of your trip (1MB attachment per post), if possible, this is! 🙂

Thanks again and all the best back home. Hope to see you again in the future.

    Best,
    Steph
