Hi all,

We are just about to book onto a 7 day guided trek from la Chable to Zermatt (The “Haute” route). The company we are going to book it with is called UTracks. They seem fine from the phone calls and emails etc I have had with them, but I was just wondering if anyone else had done this hike with them and had any feedback? I can’t find a lot of reviews or trip photos/reports from them so just thought I’d try here to see if anyone had any experience with them.

Hi drutherford,

You might struggle to find any sort of review about a specialist outfit like Utracks on this forum. They weren’t around last time i trekked in this area, but I see they have a few videos on Youtube that look interesting. It looks like they have a mule to carry the luggage and that would make a big difference in the experience.

Having said that, people are more likely to post online if they have had a bad experience than a good one, so if you can’t find any comments elsewhere, that’s probably a good thing. I’d be interested to hear how you go. Keep in touch.
