    Hello friends,

I plan to visit Mt Titlis from Lucerne on 15 May and Jungfrau from Interlaken on 17 May. Would this be a good time of the year to visit both these places? Is there any risk to the program due to rains or poor weather or closure of transportation lines?

Thank you in anticipation of good advice.

    – Sats

Welcome Sats! May is a great month to visit Switzerland: you’ll find lovely fresh spring colours and snow-capped mountain tops. Both Titlis and Jungfraujoch are accessible. There are no weather guarantees though. Statistically, chances of sun and dry weather are somewhat higher in July and August, but that doesn’t tell anything about the days you plan to visit. It’s best to make some back-up plans (train or boat rides, museum visits) in case weather is bad, but that goes for visits to the Alps all year long.
