    Hi,

Are warm clothes available on rent for a visit to Mt. Titlis? If yes, where and how are these available?

    Regards,
    Chetan

    Hi Chetan,

There’s a sport shop that rents out gear at the Titlis valley station. I don’t know if they have clothes for rent. I wouldn’t recommend to spend money on that though, unless you want to go skiing or do other sports. For just a visit, it’s sufficient to take along some extra clothing yourself. A pair of gloves could be comfortable, depending on the weather up there.

I have a question regarding footwear. We are planning to visit Titlis and Kleine Matterhorn and are arriving in Switzerland June 12th. Is it enough with light walking shoes or do we need tourist boots? I would like to try snow-toys on Titlis and maybe take a short walk

    Hi zincis,

You’ll be walking in snow, and it won’t be level at all places. High hiking boots with a good profile would be most comfortable.
