I can't find what express trains are included in the cost of the flex pass or travel pass? Is there somewhere on the website to find this information? Thanks.

Hi Ibentley...Welcome to My Swiss Alps.

All trains in Switzerland...express or locals, are included in e Swiss Travel Pass. Do you have specific trains in mind? Mountain railways only have a discount.

Where do you want to travel?

This link might be a good place to start:

If that does not give satisfactory answers, Arno and Anniika may be able to provide more details

Hi ibentley,

Our pass pages include all details about benefits, how to use the pass, where to buy etc. For the Swiss Travel Pass, please look at myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass. Be sure to read all tabs and download the map.

Perhaps these can help?

www.sbb.ch/en/leisure-holidays/holidays--short-breaks-in-switzerland/swisstrave lsystem.html

or,

or,

It would help if you clarify what you mean by "express trains." All throughout Switzerland there are express trains and local trains. For example, from Zürich to Bern, or Luzern to Bern.

Apparently, my comment that they are included with the STP was not sufficient. They also would be included with a "flex pass" - there are varieties of a "flex pass", by the way - but the additional rules for a flex pass would constrain the timing vs. cost.

If by express trains, you mean the special scenic trains, such as the Glacier Express, The Wilhelm Tell Express, the Bernina Express, and other scenic trains that do not have the word "Express" in their name, this link may help:

Slowpoke.

PS- I misspelled Annika....just one "i"
