When do Jungfrau region cable cars open ?

    We’re planning our trip for next year and may be at Lauterbrunnen late May? Are all the cable cars open then? The main ones I’m interested in are the ones from Lauterbrunnen up to Grutshalp, Murren etc as well as the Wengen and Grimmelwald to Mannlichen ones? Thanks

    Hi Chez60,

    You mean Grindelwald to Männlichen. You are mixing it up with Gimmelwald. 🙂

    The Männlichen cable car to/from Grindelwald and Wengen will open at the end of May. This year it was May 26 and June 1 respectively.

    The cable car to Grütschalp will be operating as normal as will the cable car to Mürren from Stechelberg.

    The cableway/railway to Mürren is always open as Mürren is a mountain town which needs access 365 days a year
