Hi everyone, my family and I will be traveling from Milan to Zermatt, then to Interlaken next week. Is it possible to take the Glacier express from Brig to Zermatt or from Zermatt to Brig? Thanks in advance! (:

    Hi lamwanying, welcome to MySwissAlps!

Yes, theoretically it’s possible to get the Glacier Express between Brig and Zermatt. However, for such a short leg the Glacier Express won’t add that much to a regular local train that covers the exact same route. Moreover, only one Glacier Express train runs each day, so it may not fit well with your other plans. Also, keep in mind that you’ll be there in tourist high season, and seats may already be booked out. Please find further information at http://www.myswissalps.com/gl acierexpress. All regular trains between Brig and Zermatt can be found in the timetable: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable.

I hope this answers your question. Have a great stay in Zermatt and Interlaken!
