Zermatt to Klein Matterhorn cable car connection

In the timetable I see only 1 or 2 cable car connections for Klein Matterhorn in Summer. Particularly on July 1st, there is only 1 cable car connection leaving at 15:38. Even if we take this cable car connection to go up, there is no cable car connection back until next day morning.

Is this normal? Are there alternate options to go in the morning?

That's indeed weird, I checked and saw it too. But it's just a glitch in the timetable. Probably they haven't included the full summer schedule yet. There will be cable cars all day long from about 8:30 to 16:30.

Oh good. I got worried for some time. I thought may be the cable car is not operational in early July :)
