Zurich Boat trip

Hi Forum,

I am planning for a boat ride in Zurich on 3rd April, We have thought of purchasing the swiss travel card for myself and wife. Are these valid on the boat rides ? we are planning to take either a short ride on Limmet River cruise or go for a medium round trip on Lake river cruise depending on the time we reach Zurich.
