Zurich-Lucerne-Mt Pilatus-Interlaken

Hi,

From Zurich I want to go to Interlaken via Lucerne.

I want to visit Mt Pilatus(cog wheel train) and also see Lucerne.

I want to take the 1605 train to Interlaken from Lucerne.

What all should we see in Lucerne and the time required.

Please advise the best way for seeing Lucerne, Mt Pilatus and Interlaken.

You can easily stay in Lucerne for a week or much longer and do something different every day, either in town or the region.
