    Hello,

I have to travel from Zurich to Salzburg. I intend to buy a half fare card for 1 month. When I go to sbb.ch to book my tickets on Railjet, the only discount offered on the Switzerland leg is with half-fare card for 1/2/3years. I am wondering if I will get the same benefit with half-fare card for 1 month?

    Please advise.
    thanks,
    Nitin
PS: thanks, this is a wonderful website. I have spent over 10 hours on this and have learnt a lot! Thanks for building this.

Hello Nitin, and welcome to MySwissAlps. I’m glad to hear you like this site! As for your question: yes, the Swiss Half Fare Card offes the same discounts as the 1, 2 or 3 year Half-Fare Travelcard (which is mostly used by Swiss residents). You can read all about it, and download a validity map, at the Swiss Half Fare Card page.
