Issue with my STP sorted out by this forum, thanks a lot. Now struck with my bookings to seinach irdnibg, Austria from Zurich.

1. When embarking on my journey to austria, my STP will still be valud; so want a discount on this. The flixbus site alliws adding many cards but not STP. please guide.

2. Read a lot if negative review about flixbus. Pl guide.

3. What is the cheap and best alternative to reach seinach irdning or selzthal from zurich and back after spending 4 days in Austria. I don’t want to miss my flight back to india

The train will be much nicer than a bus

The portion within Switzerland of a journey to Stainach or Selzthal is short so I would abandon the idea of a Swiss Travel Pass discount which will just make ticket buying complex.

The international trains tend to have ‘global’ fare system so a pass discount won’t reduce the fare by much

Hi Meera2307,

I would go for the train too, just as 1960man suggested you. There are even direct trains (via Buchs SG). If you already know for sure which train to take, you can check in the timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) where it will cross the border and buy the tickets just from there to Stainach or Selzthal.

With the Swiss Travel Pass you do not need ticket for the Swiss part of your journey. You just need a seat reservation, which is not required for most Railjet trains, but we do recommend it.
