How to get there and back

Lavertezzo can best be reached by bus, e.g. from Locarno. There is limited parking. From Ganne, you can travel back by bus. The buses do not operate frequently, so be sure to check the schedule.

Route description

• From the bus stop, take the path going north, towards the bridge (Ponte dei Salti) and away from the village. It's worth it to take a look in the village of Lavertezzo first.
• Cross the bridge and turn right. Be careful on the bridge. It is narrow and the walls on both sides are low. It was never designed for many tourists. It can get crowded here on sunny summer days.
• Follow the signs in the direction of Brione and Ganne, until you reach the bus stop, about 300 m after the hamlet of Ganne.
