About this city walk

This is a self-guided walking tour in Locarno along the lake, the town square, many shops, a few small parks, Visconteo castle, the Sant' Antonio church and the Camellia Park.

The Camellia Park (Parco delle Camelie) is a botanical garden that features hundreds of camellias in a forestry area with a few ponds. The best time to visit is April to September.

The walk itself does not take that long, but we recommend to allocate 2.5 to 5 hours so there's time to take pictures, have a break and perhaps browse a few of the many shops.
