Hi Sanjay,
Welcome to MySwissAlps!
1. SBB does not operate the Golden Pass trains and does not sell tickets for more than a month ahead. Please find booking links and information on myswissalps.com/golden pass/tickets, particularly the links under “More information” if you only need reservations and no tickets.
2. There are quite a lot of hotels in Montreux but the options depend on your travel date and budget. Did you check the options here? If so, can you provide more information as requested here so we can have a detailed look? Thanks!

Thanks Arno, This is helpful.
1.How much should be stop over time at each of these locations if we had get down from the train and board again the next train.
Chateau d’Oex: Nice village with hill side scenery. Place of hot air balloon rides if wanted.
stopover in Rougemont: Trip up to the “Les Diableret” Glacier with Cable car and back.
stopover in Gstaad: Lovely little village in the bernese Alps.
2.Is it must to have reservation in the train because journey between Chateau and Gstaad is not much, If we get down and get back in the train, can we travel standing if there are no seats available.
We are planning travel around mid August.
Thanks and Regards

Hi Sanjay,
1. The bus to the cable car of Glacier 3000 departs from Gstaad, so you don’t need a stop in Rougemont for that. I’d recommend to have the timetables of trains/buses at hand and just take the time you need.
2. With stopovers I would not buy reservations but rather be flexible. Worst case you’ll have to stand for a while.
From Glacier 3000 the quickest way back to Montreux is via Les Diablerets and Aigle. The timetable offers all details of that trip.
