    Hi –

I will be traveling at the end of June for 6 nights with my 24yo daughter. Flying into Geneva from US.

I was thinking staying 1 or 2. nights in Lausanne. Then going onto Lauterbrunnen for the remainder of time. Interested in a little hiking and checking out the quaint villages. Is Luzern and better place than Lauterbrunnen? Flying to Iceland after and thinking of flying from Zurich or Geneva.

    Need suggestions please 🙂

    Hi Janef,

If you are interested in hiking and outdoor activities then I would go to Luzern over Lausanne but Lauterbrunnen (and other towns in the Jungfrau region) would be the best overall. Take a look at our info pages on these two towns to see what there is to do around the town and area.

For international flights you can choose between Geneva, Zurich or Basel airports. Icelandair flies direct to Zurich in the summer so that is the easiest option and Basel is home to cheaper airlines like Ryanair etc.
