Switserland is a verry friendly country, also for children.
You can take the pram with you in the cable car, or leave it in the station and take it with you when you are back.

Hi rsinghal23 –
Welcome to the My Swiss Alps –
<<“is the country pram friendly which places we will not be able to go with the baby is there provision to leave pram if we take cable ways to titlis etc””>
Sorry I don’t have all the answers to your questions.
However, there are approximately 846,235 places to go in Switzerland, plus or minus a few thousand.
Thus, it is difficult to answer your question about even a tiny fraction of those places.
The Swiss make an effort to support all travelers.
If you propose an itinerary, we can comment on it.

There are usually places to leave luggage at train stations.

Hi rsinghal23,
The main thing to prepare for is the altitude. You need to check with your pediatrician whether it’s ok to take your child to places over 2500 m. Please see the Titlis page, for example. But even if it’s advised against, there are plenty of places left to visit.

I would just take whatever you normally take along for your baby. There’s plenty of baby food in all supermarkets, so that should not be an issue. I’m sure you’ll have a great time!

Hi rsinghal23,
Here is some information about travelling with children, and with a baby buggy/pushchair/stroller, that you might find useful:
SBB Travelling with Children

Ticki Park

Travelling safely with a baby buggy

When taking a baby buggy on cable cars, they will probably ask you to collapse it first.
At Zermatt, families are advised not to take children under the age of 3 beyond Trockener Steg – see attached picture re where that is.

Hope this is useful.
