We are there from 26th Oct. to 1st Nov.

What kind of weather /temperature can I expect?

I need advice on clothing and shoes to carry.

Temperature varies a lot by the day, the time, the place and the altitude. The average high for a town like Zurich would be 8-12 °C, but it will be freezing at the peaks.
