I have Swiss Half Fare and Family Cards and trying to book on-line tickets with SBB. When putting in passenger details I can see discount options for adults in ‘select reduction’, but not for children travelling under the Swiss Family Card. The only reduction option for children is with the Junior Card, which I don’t believe is necessary to purchase with the Family Card. Thanks in advance for your help.

Children taking advantage of the Swiss Family Card do not need tickets if travelling with a parent using the Swiss Half Fare Card or Swiss Travel Pass.
If you are talking about seat reservations then that is a separate issue. All passengers need a seat reservation in the unlikely event that you want to make reservations on trains other than the major panoramic express trains (Glacier Express, Bernina Express and Gotthard Panorama).
