    HI,

I will be travelling with my 3 year old kid and I am planning to bring his stroller along. Is it advisable to do so? Can it be used on the terraing around Mount titlis, Mount Pilatus and other similar excursions?

Hello Ranjitsaraf and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

Nice to hear you’re coming to Switzerland with your little one.

Generally strollers are allowed everywhere in public transportation, so from that point of view you’re fine. On Mount Titlis, e.g. I normally recommend to leave the stroller behind, as in the snow you can’t use it anyway, and in the building there are stairs and elevators and no long distances to walk.

On Mount Pilatus there are longer distances to walk, but also stairs, etc. to get to the view points.

However, your day will include more moving than only on the mountain tops and children and parents are very different when it comes to how much walking/carrying is ok in a day.

    Best,
    Steph
