About this trail

The route starts at Klewenalp, which can be reached by cable car. This location offers a grand view of Lake Lucerne, 1100 m lower. Mount Rigi can be seen on the other side of the lake. In the south, there are views of the Central Switzerland mountain world, with mountains such as the Brisen and many others.

The first half of the route crosses meadows, the second half to the gondola station of Stockhütte crosses forests.

How to reach Klewenalp

There is a cable car from Beckenried to Klewenalp. Beckenried can be reached by car, bus or boat.

How to travel back from the Stockhütte

Take the gondola down to the village of Emmetten. From Emmetten, you can continue by bus.

The route starts at the cable car station of Klewenalp. You need to follow to signs to the gondola station Stockhütte.
