Family of 6 itinerary for winter in Switzerland

Short summary – read this first

A traveler is planning a winter trip to Switzerland with their family, including four adults and two young children. They are looking for a 7-day itinerary in late December, focusing on visiting top attractions like the 'Top of Europe'. They need advice on what to see and do while accommodating young kids.

Key takeaways:
  • Check the availability of mountain attractions in late December, as most are open but some may close for winter.
  • Use the public transport timetable to plan trips by train, cable car, bus, or boat for an easy travel experience.
  • Consider getting a Swiss Travel Pass for unlimited travel on public transport, which can be very convenient for families.

Hi everyone! I have been reading a lot on other’s reports on their trips and also other’s itenerary. However, I need suggestions from those who frequent Swiss and knows the weather connditions during winter. I am planning to visit Swiss with my family – we are 4 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 15months. I would love to spend winter in Swiss while also be able to see all the top attractions and beautiful places Swiss can offer. What’s on my mind now is Top of europe, definitely. Could I get some suggestions on 7 day itenerary during winter (in late December) with 2 kids?
