Dears ,

We are traveling with two children 3 and 6 by car and we will stay in interlaken children and we have the following itinerary

Day 1 Lauterbrunnen- Murren- Schilthorn- Trummelbach Falls- Murrenbach Fall. wengen

Day 2 Harder Kulm funicula, Kleine Scheidegg, Grindelwald

Can we do this itinerary ? should we pay a pass or we can use car and buy separate ticket for every train/cable car ? which is the cheapest option ?

Thanks for sharing your travel plans. On Day 1, you can drive up to Lauterbrunnen and park your car at the public garage next to the train station. Wengen (https://www.myswissalps.com/town/wengen) is a car-free village and you would need to travel with the train from Lauterbrunnen to get there. From Wengen, you can reach Kleine Scheidegg by train. Similarly, you can only reach Mürren (https://www.myswissalps.com/town/murren) by mountain transportation.

On Day 2, you can drive up to Grindelwald (https://www.myswissalps.com/town/grindelwald) and park in the village but would need to use mountain transportation to get to Grindelwald First, Mannlichen or Pfingstegg. The Harder Kulm funicular is near the Interlaken Ost train station and has parking.

Regarding railpass, I recommend getting a Swiss Half Fare Card (https://www.myswissalps.com/travel-ticket/swiss-half-fare-card/) if you are planning a longer trip and numerous mountain excursions. You will get a complimentary Swiss Family Card which will allow your 6-year -old child to travel along for free. Children under 6 always travel for free on public transport.
