    Hello,
Ill be staying with my wife in Chamonix for 4 days , then planning to stay 8 days in Swizerland:
    – Can you please let us know if its worth buying the 8 days Swiss travel pass ?
    – How to use it going from Chamonix to Zurich ?
Currently the hotels reservations done is as flows:
6-8 Aug Zurich , 8-12 Lucern , 12-14 Geneva ( note that Zurich hotel is still free cancellation and we are flexible to change these 2 days to the best possible option )

    – SBB app is showing us this path from Chamonix to Zurich ( 5hrs 15min ):
    1-Chamonix Midi to Vallorcine
    2-Vallorcine to martigny
    3-Martiginy to Visp
    4-Visp to Zurich
Note that we have 2 large luggage.
Is all that path included in the swiss travel pass, if not how to make it included ?
Is that the best way to go to Zurich ? Is it a scenic path ?

Other plan is to go from Chamonix to Lugano using Swiss travel pass, staying for one night there,
and the next morning take the Bernina express bus to Tirano to Chur to Zurich,
is this a better plan ?

Hi Michael and welcome to MySwissAlps!

You can see a PDF may of all routes covered by the Swiss Travel Pass here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ validity

I would think, considering your travel plans that the Swiss Travel Pass is your best bet yes. You can buy it online here and have it emailed to you to print at home (and now have a back up pass to print again if you lose it) https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ price

The Lugano and Bernina Express route is certainly very scenic indeed and you get a small taste of Italian Switzerland: https://www.myswissalp s.com/berninaexpress

Another option to consider from Lugano is the Gotthard Panorama Express: https://www.myswissalp s.com/gotthardpanorama express

If you do go the first route, after Visp, be sure to travel via Kandersteg to travel over the mountains, rather than under them. 🙂 That improve the scenery drastically!

The simple way to a perfect Swiss trip
